5Awsome
By J. Mason
This key is an awsome deal, it worked in my 2012 Wrangler with no problem. Key store wanted $75 and dealer wanted several hundred. Read on line that this would work so I ordered it took it to Lowes and the guy cut it for me for free brought it home followed the instructions that came with it and it worked first time.

5A must have!!
By Hentai think its great!
If you own a car with a transponder key nowadays you need at least 2 working transponder keys to program a new key yourself. So, we thought we had lost one of our 2007 Jeep Wrangler ignition keys a few weeks ago, called dealer, and some locksmith places and the lowest price to get a replacement was $79.00 and up to $225.00 and not for keyless entry. It was for this key!!! Well, we found the other key, but I ordered this key blank immediately. I payed around $16.00 total with shipping. Took it to Lowe's and got it cut for $2.00, and after a grand total of about $18.00, I have three transponder keys. I will keep one in the safe, so if we ever lose another one it'll be a cheap replace.

BTW: There is a catch!!!!!! Called Programming!!!! FUNNY
Put one good key in and turn to "ON" for 3-10 sec
Put another good key in less than 15 seconds later and turn to "ON" for 10 secs or longer until it beeps
Put new unprogrammed key in ignition to "ON" for 10 secs or longer until it beeps again

Then you are done, but definitely follow the website directions, mine are abbreviated.

GREAT PRODUCT!!!! Definitely recommend for all owners of a Jeep Wrangler (at least a 2007 model), that has a need for extra keys for kids, or just an "in case" spare.
