not as advertised

This product is advertised as an OEM replacement, it is NOT an oem part, the build quality is crap, the circuit board inside looks NOTHING like the OEM remotes except for the shape. It also did not work when I opened it up and tried programming it. The programming instructions were NOT included with the remote, but were instead provided on the manufacturer website, and once found were WRONG, fortunately I still have my owners manual and was able to look them up in that. I would NEVER recommend buying from this seller. I tried contacting the seller regarding this problem and as of the writing of this review (a day later) I have received no response. This will be going back so that I can get a refund through amazon.

EDIT: I did finally receive a response from the seller, they shipped me another remote with a return label for the faulty unit, the 2nd remote worked flawlessly A+ on that, however the remote is still NOT an OEM unit just be aware.

ano ther note, when programming this to your truck if you already have 2 remotes you will need to have all 3 (or 4) of the remotes you want to work with you at the time of programming, activating programming mode erases all the remotes except for the one used to activate programming mode you have been warned.

Great product, incomplete instructions

The key fob its self works wonderfully; however, the instructions provided left something to be desired. This was not a big deal thanks to the wonder that is called the internet, as it provided me with the complete sequence to ensure flawless use of this keyless entry remote. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to program a backup remote, or replace one that has seen better days.
