Product Description

HIGH SECURITY 'CHIP KEY' - By now, most people know their vehicle's high-tech keys are expensive at the car dealers- Now, you can get high-tech keys from us at a fraction of the cost. How does the high-tech key work? The key contains a tiny embedded electronic chip called a transponder. Each transponder has its own unique code--it's the key's 'fingerprint'. When the key is inserted into the ignition and turned, the transponder is energized and broadcasts its unique code to the car's receiver in the dashboard. If the car's receiver recognizes the code, it will allow the car to start.

5Smooth transaction
By darian hall
Received the key super quick, 2 or 3 days I believe. Cost $1 to have the key cut at Ace hardware. Only took about 45 seconds to program the key. Put original key in the ignition and turn to the "ON" position. Turn the key back to the original position and take it out, put the new key in and turn to the "ON" position and let it sit for about 30 seconds. Boom! Start the car, and drive. Side note when you take the original key out of the ignition, you have to put the new one in before 15 seconds.

I bought this so my gf could have a key to my car. I got in quickly and took it to the hardware store and they cut it for free. I followed the instructions in the package and it works just fine.
