This is definitely an OEM device. We were supposed to get a second remote when we bought a used truck for our company, but the guy who sold the truck to the dealership didn't give it to them, so we had to buy our own. It is identical to the one that we did get from the dealership. If I remember correctly this does not come with a battery so be sure to have one ready to go if you have to take it to the dealership to get it programmed!
